NPSU demands CBI inquiry in fake appointments in CUJ

JAMMU: National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) demand CBI inquiry of all the appointment made during tenure of present Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu.
Talking to reporters, State President NPSU, Thakur Virender Singh said that all the rules have been violated for appointment of post of Assistant Professor and non gazetted post at Central University Jammu.
Singh lambasted that on one hand UGC guidelines says that no contractual employees can hold the administrative and financial position at university and on other hand VC have violated the norms by asking the contractual employees to be part of interview committee conducted for various gazette and non-gazette posts.
Singh added that VC Central University Jammu must come clean about the fact that why the list of short listed candidates uploaded on CUJ website was changed 4-5 times.
Singh urged the Governor N.N Vohra to intervene in this issue and a CBI inquiry must be initiated in order inquire the matter.
Others present in the press conference included Lovely Singh, Shubam Jasrotia, Ruder Partab Singh, Sumit Singh, Mandeep Singh, Chetan Sharma and Sudesh Badyal.
