JAMMU: Under institute-industry interface programme students from department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of North Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, visited Intex Industry, Bari Brahmana, SIDCO along with their faculty members.
Manmohan Singh, HR-Head and Kunal Koul, Production-Head apprised them about different operations of the company including manufacturing of speakers, PCB and modern soldering techniques.
Students of Civil Engineering Department visited Mehar Cement Plant, Kangral and brick kiln and students of Electrical Engineering Department visited Central Transformer Workshop, Narwal accompanied along with their faculty members.
Er. Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration asserted that all these industrial visits were very exhaustive and informative in nature which helped students in getting maximum industrial exposure and technical knowledge.
Er. K.R Sharma, Principal North Polytechnic appreciated efforts of faculty members, students and Training and Placement Cell for conducting all these industrial visits and making them successful.
