Non-teaching employees of SKUAST-J frame adhoc body

JAMMU: Keeping in view the present status and constitutional provisions, the Mass General Body of Non Teaching Employees of SKUAST-J has resolved to declare the Executive Committee whose tenure expired on 12th December 2016 as null and void and deemed to be dissolved with immediate effect. In the meeting held here on Tuesday, it constituted an Adhoc body headed by P.D.K Uppal as President till the new elected body takes over the charge of the association so that the routine activities of the association carry on without any problem.
The other members included N.K Bhat, Gurdeep Singh, Gursajiwan Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Ajeet Raj, Manzoor Ahmad, Sat Paul, Mehmood-ul-Hassan and Seema Bhat.
With regard to conduct of elections of the association, it was unanimously resolved by the General House would frame an Election Commission for conducting free and fair election in a stipulated time frame. The members included Manmohan Singh as Chief Election Commissioner, Tarseem Lal as Election Commissioner, Romesh Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Muneer Bhat and Hardeeep Singh as Returning Officers. Further it was also unanimously resolved where under R.K Kapoor, Assistant Comptroller and Dr Vikas Sharma, Assistant Professor will act as Chief Observers for conduct of elections.
