Nobody shall be allowed to vitiate peace: DGP

JAMMU: Director General of Police, K Rajendra Kumar on Saturday asked the police officers to put in their best for ensuring adequate security and law and order arrangements in the State.
Speaking in a meeting to review the crime scenario in which all range DIG’s and District SSsP of Jammu Zone were present, Rajendra directed the officers to conduct regular meetings with the public and promptly respond to their complaints.
DGP also urged the police officers to maintain coordination among the other sister agencies for prevention of any anti-social activities in the disturbed areas.
“Nobody should be allowed to vitiate the atmosphere at any cost,” he asserted.
Disposal of pending crime cases especially cases of heinous crime and law and order related arrangements especially for the forthcoming festival Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi were also discussed. The meeting amongst others was attended by Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Danesh Rana.
