In the era of technology, communication growth is witnessed by all but there are some stories which tell about sorrow state of affairs of communication technology and its concerning institute. One such example in the state of J and K is the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The poor working style of BSNL is known to all as every other day people all over J and K organise protest because of services of BSNL wherein there is no connectivity, poor connectivity and call drop.
But of late new complaints have started erupting in society because now BSNL is harassing its old subscribers who have left BSNL services. There is this full fledged modus operandi where BSNL officers delibrately are not releasing the refundable money in form of deposits and extra payment done by old subscribers. There are several subscribers who have raised this complaint highlighling about this modus operandi of BSNL officers.They even told that its been almost a year and yet BSNL is not giving back them their money in form of refund.It has been learnt from reliable sources that BSNL owe several crores to people of J and K. Questions are even raised over the accounting system of BSNL because of this dumped money with BSNL. DGM Finance BSNL Jammu Ratna Basotra was helpless to give any answer over this all issue. When Junior Accounts Officer BSNL Rakesh was approached even he tried to evade all questions over this matter. Such working style has ended the trust of old and new subscibers on BSNL the proof of which is dwindling numbers of BSNL subscribers in J and K.With such affairs prevailing in BSNL J and K days are not away when they turn totally defunt.
