SUNDERBANI: A Maha-rally of PoK Refugees was held on Sunday under the banner of SOS International – An Organisation for PoK Displaced Persons at Shri Shri 1008 Swami Vishavatamanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj’s Ashram at Sunderbani. Thousands of PoK Displaced Persons (DPs) from different parts of Tehsil Sunderbani thronged into the Maharally. All the speakers in the rally expressed their anguish and resentment against RSS and BJP that claim to keep Hindutva agenda and work for the interests of Hindus.
While addressing the rally, SOS International Chairman Chuni stated that these two organisations i.e. BJP and RSS that used to claim themselves as frontrunner to keep the interests of Hindus have drastically made a U-turn after the elections, adding BJP and its religious body RSS are seeing the interest of only Kashmir.
“BJP is the same party that used to call Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) a Pro-Pakistan party, a father-daughter party, a Gangotri of Corruption and what not but after the Assembly elections made their unholy alliance with the same Party-PDP by first making the father (Mufti Mohd. Sayeed) as CM and then daughter (Mehbooba Mufti) as CM BJP has made a dip in Gangotri of Corruption which presented BJP’s slavish and greedy trait to remain in power. What will be more unfortunate that those PoK refugees who wholeheartedly voted BJP into power are being ignored willfully and the whole focus is pointed on Kashmir, Kashmiri and Kashmiriyat”, he alleged.
Chuni further said that legislative proceedings are underway for the last 3 weeks and the whole proceedings are focused over Kashmir; Jammu sees nowhere as none of the legislators have been seen raising issues pertaining to Jammu and PoK refugees.
SOS International is giving last ultimatum to government to resolve our issues as per previous government’s resolution till the end of October 2016 otherwise PoK DPs will launch an ultimate struggle to get their rights during Darbar move, he added. He made appeal to PoK DPs to get ready for the final battle to get justice so that Government compels to deliver justice at the earliest.
