Interacting with media persons here on Saturday, President NMC, Subash Shastri urged upon the Finance Minister to comprehensively provide sufficient financial resources for the implementing the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission in favor of State Government employees and pensioners and proper announcement to that effect may be made in the budget document.
“States like Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand despite their dire condition of financial constraints have already announced implementation of Seventh Pay Commission recommendations, the State of Jammu and Kashmir should not now delay,” Shastri added.
Shastri once again reiterated that further delay in this regard will pile up financial implications further which in turn will pose very complex and difficult problems for the State Government.
