JAMMU: NIS Club and PG Department Jammu lifted men and women title respectively of 21st Jammu District Kho-Kho Championship orgnaised by J and K State Kho-Kho Association at Green Field Gandhi Nagar on Sunday.
In the men’s section, NIS Club defeated SAI Club by four points while PG Department Jammu outplayed Khalsa Club Simbal Camp in women’s section by nine points.
Chief Guest, Manmeet Singh, President of the Association and Guest of Honour, Dr. A.S Bhatia, HoD Pathology Department GMC Bakshi Nagar, Jammu gave away medals and trophies to winner and runner-up teams.
He congratulated the senior players and the association officials for successful conduct of the championship.
Present among others were S.B.S Tirthi, Senior Vice President, Harjeet Singh General Secretary of the Association.
The matches were officiated by Pankaj Mahotra, Gagan Kumar, Dheeraj Sharma, Vishal Malhotra and Vikram Singh.
