JAMMU: The government on Friday placed nine Section Officers (SOs) of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as Under Secretaries and adjusted eleven Under Secretaries.
“Sanction is accorded to the placement of the nine Section Officers of the J&K Secretariat (Subordinate) Service as Under Secretaries, in their own pay and grade, with charge allowance as admissible under rules, for a period of six months or till the available vacancies in the J&K Secretariat (Gazetted) Service -I (Under Secretaries cadre) are filled-up on regular basis on the recommendations of the DPC/PSC, whichever is earlier,” reads an order issued by Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department.
The placement ordered in favour of Raj Kumar, Anjali Koul, Laxmi Kant, Rajesh Kumar, Hafiz-UIlah Peer, Mohammed Iqbal Bajar, Amar Singh, Syed Ishrat Pervez and Mohan Singh.
Consequently, Mohammad Abdullah Waggay, Under Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer, Government Unani Medical College, Ganderbal; Nuzhat Shah, Under Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment as Under Secretary, Science and Technology Department; Raj Kumar, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment; Anjali Koul, on her placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Jal Shakti Department; Laxmi Kant, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Administrative Officer in the office of Advocate General, J&K, vice Vishwa Bandhu, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
Rajesh Kumar, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj; Hafiz-Ullah Peer, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, ARI and Trainings Department; Mohammed Iqbal Bajar, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Labour and Employment Department; Amar Singh, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Culture Department; Syed Ishrat Pervez, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary in the J&K Services Selection Board; and Mohan Singh, on his placement as Under Secretary, has been posted as Under Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department.
