Nida Architects bags prize in Int’l Design Awards in ‘Residential’ category

JAMMU: Nida Architects founding partners Ashish Rohmetra, son of Narinder and Rajni Rohmetra, and Shraddha Agarwal, daughter of Bijoy Kumar and Kiran Devi Agarwal, added yet another feather to their cap by achieving third prize amongst 1000 plus entries in an “International Interior Design Awards – Category: Residential”, organised by Archdais.
The award is bestowed to recognize outstanding ideas that redefine the interior design of a house through the implementation of novel technologies, materials, programs, aesthetics and spatial organizations.
“Design, where history meets modern luxury was our concept, drawing inspiration from both existing Islamic architectural style on site and Moroccan landscapes. When it came to design, we envisioned a space which would be a juxtaposition of various elements inspired from these styles to create luxurious spaces with a unique character”, they stated.
All the space designed speaks a similar language but have a very distinctive personality. Nida Architects is the only architectural practice from J&K, which has succeeded in getting this award. They also have branch offices in Delhi NCR and Kolkata. They are presently working on multiple projects in pan India and overseas countries like Nepal, Slovenia UK etc.
