JAMMU: NHPC Limited, a Navratna enterprise of the Government of India, has been Certified by Great Place To Work for the second consecutive year, for the period January 2026 to January 2027. The company achieved an improved Trust Index Score compared to the previous year, reflecting enhanced employee confidence and workplace satisfaction.
Great Place To Work is a globally recognized authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviour that drives market-leading performance, retention and innovation. The certification is based on a rigorous assessment model that captures comprehensive employee feedback and evaluates organizational practices across five key pillars-Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie.
On the occasion, Bhupender Gupta, CMD, NHPC, congratulated employees for securing the Great Place To Work Certification for the second year in a row. He emphasized the importance of analysing insights derived from the certification process and called for sustained, collective efforts to further strengthen NHPC’s work culture.
The certification reaffirms NHPC’s steadfast commitment to fostering a workplace rooted in trust, dignity, inclusivity, recognition and mutual respect. Over its five-decade journey since inception, NHPC has cultivated a positive and cohesive employee environment despite challenges arising from geographical diversity, varied languages, cultures and social backgrounds. Notably, 88% of employees across levels participated in the survey, underscoring strong engagement and faith in the organization’s leadership and systems. This recognition places NHPC among leading organizations that prioritize employee wellbeing, engagement and a culture of excellence.
