JAMMU: Formal Provi-ncial Body of National Health Mission (NHM) Employees unanimously elected Rohit Seth as Provincial President while Hamid Parray was elected as Senior Vice President of the association.
The body was elected at a convention of NHM Employees in which employees from all the districts of Jammu Division were present and issues related to cadre were discussed in detail.
Speaking on the occasion, President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Sushil Sudan demanded regularization policy for NHM employees, Equal Pay for Equal Work, transfer policy for NHM Employees, maternity leave benefit, fixed wages for ASHA Workers and release of salaries of NHM Employees on time.
Others elected are Mohit Seth as Vice President, Dr. Varinder Gupta and Dr. Sajad Natnoo as General Secretaries, Ajay Kumar as Secretary, Ashok Sharma, Shabnam Saini and Surinder Singh as Joint Secretary, Dr. Sushma Rani as Office Secretary, Raza Ganai as Publicity Secretary, Atta-Ulah-Mirza as Treasurer, Rajinder Singh as Organizer, Faizaan Tramboo as Spokesperson, Dr. Sadi Wani, Anil Gupta and Dr. Anil Sharma as Advisors.
