UDHAMPUR : On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the members of NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organised a programme in which they took out a rally to highlight the message of peace and brotherhood among people.
The members carried the placards and raised slogans of peace and humanity and moved through various streets and reached Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park. The members paid homage to those countrymen and soldiers who lost their lives in border areas recently.
While speaking on the occasion , the Chairman of the NGO , Tariq Shah said , “Today we pay our respectful homage to the brave soldiers who lost their lives recently in border. We pray to Almighty on this pious festival for peace in the world”.
“The message of peace is the need of hour. We appeal to the people to come forward to spread the message of peace and humanity,” he said.
The NGO placed a few dustbins in the park with the cooperation of CEO, Municipal Committee Udhampur. They gave a message of cleanliness and appealed to people to be a part of this drive. The members of NGO Aquib, Zoya, Sahil, Abbi Rajput, Rajeev, Parul, Varun raised the slogans to save humanity , environment and also to spread the message of peace and brotherhood. Asiya, Mobeen, Parul, Nidhi, Ali, Vijay, Sanjay, Baldev, Ravi and others were also present.
