NCP, PDP getting nervous in face of impending defeat in coming elections: Chugh

STATE TIMES NEWS

POONCH/SRINAGAR: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, who is also the party incharge for J&K, on Sunday said that the feudal parties like the NCP, PDP and the Congress have become nervous in the face of impending defeat in the coming Assembly elections.
Reacting strongly to the statement made by Omar Abdullah that BJP has struck a deal with regional parties, independents to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir, Chugh dismissed the remark stating “it is high time Omar Abdullah stop making baseless allegations to mislead people of J&K”
He said “The NC, Congress, and PDP are anti-national and dynastic parties. The BJP is clear on its commitment to ensuring that Jammu and Kashmir is freed from the influence of parties that support terrorism and separatism”.
Chugh reiterated that the Modi government is committed to restoring statehood for J&K and achieving lasting peace in the region, something these parties have never genuinely worked toward.
Chugh reasserted that these parties have consistently fueled insurgency and unrest, preventing J&K from prospering under the guise of autonomy. Their actions have only served their vested interests, benefiting their families while limiting the people of J&K to a narrow, selfish agenda, he added.
Chugh said, “The BJP has consistently emphasized its commitment to the development and integration of Jammu and Kashmir. Forming alliances with regional parties and independents is a strategic approach to achieving these developmental goals more effectively”.
Chugh said Omar Abdullah should stop making false allegations and focus on creating a proper agenda for his own party’s manifesto. The Abdullahs are known for provoking the emotions of the people of J&K, misleading them and taking advantage of them, rather than focusing on the development of the region and the welfare of its people, he added.
He said the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ focuses on the overall development of J&K, including the empowerment of the poor, farmers, youth, and women”. He exuded confidence that the BJP will be forming the government in J&K.
