JAMMU: Nav Yug Higher Secondary School organised an Inter-House Badminton tournament in the school court on Saturday. About 105 students from Peace, Progress, Fraternity and Liberty House participated in the tournament.
In Senior Group singles, Saksham of Peace House beat Manik of Fraternity House by 21-11 whereas in girls Niyanta of Peace House takeover Meenakshi of Progress House by 21 -13.
In Junior Group singles, Mehul of Liberty House won the match defeating Lakshya of Fraternity House by 21-11 whereas in a close combat between Ananya of Progress House and Ujwal of Fraternity House, the Ananya defeated her counterpart by 21-19.
Prizes were distributed by Managing Director of the School, Hardev Jamwal to winners and runners up. He also applauded the performance of the students.
Principal, Preetika Jamwal, Founder of the School, Chander Kanta and Sports Teacher, Kamal Sharma were also present.
