JAMMU: Natrang is going to organise mega theatrical show on the supreme sacrifice of Dogra folk legend Bawa Jitto at Jhiri Mela-2014 on 5th and 6th of November, 2013 at the main stage of Jhiri.
The show timings will be 7:00 PM on both of these days, said Natrang Director Balwant Singh.
The mega theatre show of Natrang is supported by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and District Administration, Jammu, he added.
Balwant also thanked District Development Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu for extending full cooperation and logistic support for holding of this event.
Giving further details Balwant Thakur said that people from all over the North India throng to the venue and this opportune moment has to be fully utilised by showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region through the presentation of the play Bawa Jitto.
The lead role of Bawa Jitto is being played by famous senior actor of film, television and stage Arvind Anand whereas the role of Bua Gauri is being played by young artist Sanchita Dubey.
Other artists include Suresh Kumar, Anil Tickoo, Neeraj Kant, Vijay Bhatt, Mohit Sharma, Dimple Sharma, Sajra Qadir, Subash Jamwal, Gaurav Jamwal, Mohd. Yaseen, Ankush Lakhnotra, Girdhari Lal. Harbans Lal, Sachin Saini, Sakshi Prakash, Namrata Chib, Vanshika Gupta, Rajan Thakyal, Pankaj Verma, Sachin Bamaba, Amit Raina, Ravinder Manhas and Shekher Sharma.
