UDHAMPUR: As part of National Youth Day celebrations, a sports event was organised by Shrimat Vivekananda Youth Fourm (SVYF), at Ghordi, here on Saturday.
A two-day cricket tournament was inaugurated by Sarpanch Ghordi, Bharat Bhushan Sharma and Chairman SVYF, Kuldeep Kumar.
The main aim of organizing such event is to develop the personality of youth so that they may contribute for the development of nation, said Kuldeep.
During the celebrations, a volleyball tournament will be organised on 4th January, Quiz Competition on 6th and 7th January and Youth Convention on 11th January 2015. The prize distribution ceremony shall be held on 12th January, 2015.
Others present on the occasion were President SVYF, Vishal Sharma and Vice-President Madan.
