JAMMU: Candidates of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) who contested the December-2014 Assembly elections met party Patron Prof. Bhim Singh here at NPP Headquarters on Monday. The candidates urged Bhim Singh to lead the movement for restoration of human rights which are being violated for the past 60 years by the government that ruled J and K ruthlessly and authoritatively.
The Panthers Party candidates, led by Masood Andrabim, State Vice President and Farooq Ahmed Dar Provincial President said that Bhim Singh is the only political activist who is acceptable by the people of the three regions of the State. They requested the Governor N.N Vohra to declare the recently held Assembly elections as null and void and pave to hold Assembly elections afresh so that confidence of the Kashmiris is restored in the democratic system.
Bhim Singh assured the Kashmir Panthers Party leaders that he is prepared to make any sacrifice for the sake of liberty, freedom and justice to the people of the State and appealed to the students and the youth to join the movement of real freedom which is initiated by the Panthers Party.
Panthers Party had passed a resolution urging the Governor to dissolve newly elected Assembly forthwith in the interest of peace, normalcy and democracy.
