Keeping in view the sudden and abrupt weather vagaries, we have to be perfect strategists to usher in good news in the agriculture sector. As a plant pathologist, I appreciate the importance given to an intensive pest surveillance and quick dissemination of information in combating various crop destroyers in time. It requires not only increased manual efforts but also a greater alliance with developments in the field of information technology to achieve the target.
