SRINAGAR: Nasir Hassan clinched a close game making it a 2-1 win to move into the next round of the Junior Snooker event in the ongoing Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championship, here on Monday.
Losing the opening frame 45-58, Nasir clinched following 51-46, 56-45 to make it a 2-1 win. However, in other two three scheduled matches, Amir Hussain, Adnan Wani and Fahad Idress had easy straight wins. The Results: Amir Hussain beat Hamza Mahajan 72-63, 72-20; Adnan Wani defeated Farzan Yaqoob 64-26, 75-21; Fahad ldress blanked Zaid Shah 49-08, 44-29 Nasir Hassan trounced Abid Ali 45-58,51-46,56-45.
