SAMBA: A railway contractor’s labouer miraculously escaped coming under Jabalpur Express near Samba, while working on the railway track unmindful of incoming train.
According to report the labourer identified as Raj Kumar son of Inderpal resident of Mukatsar, Punjab was working at railway track at 67.7/8 km. The Jabalpur Express running on the track, brushed him with impact which left him bruised all over.
The Head Constable of GRP Javed Iqbal reached the spot and shifted the injured to Vijaypur Hospital. Since his condition was serious, he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu. The eye witnesses called it a miraculous escape and hailed the efforts of the head constable.
