JAMMU: SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital has announced 50 per cent concession on first 51 major cases of cardiac and joint replacement surgeries with effect from January 1, 2018. This discount is on a first-cum-first serve basis and is part of the hospital’s New Year initiatives.
Dr (Brig) Man Mohan Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer of the Hospital, said, “Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital has continually undertaken numerous humanitarian initiatives since inception. We are happy to introduce one more such initiative that we believe would help make a difference in the lives of needy patients.”
“Since opening in April 2016, our humanitarian initiatives amounted to around Rs 8.20 crore including special discounts for senior citizens, police and paramilitary forces,” added Dr Harjai.
The hospital has screened more than 1.5 lakh patients in just a year and a half. During this time, the hospital has successfully performed more than 500 major cardiac procedures, 100 joint replacements, 8,000 dialysis, subsequently, and several complex neuro and gastro procedures.
More than 500 cancer patients from the region have also been treated. SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital is working to introduce its day care unit in Jammu which will include Day Care procedures such as dialysis, chemotherapy and various diagnostic services.
