JAMMU: A Kavi Goshthi was organised by Nami Dogri Sanstha which was presided by Randhir Singh Raipuria, President Dogra Mandal Jammu.
Aarsh Om Dalmotra, Chairman Adbi Kunj, Sham Talib, President Adbi Kunj, Yash Paul Yash, General Secretary Nami Dogri Sanstha, Manjeet Singh Kaamra, Chaman Lal Sagoch and Anisha also participated. Yash Paul Yash, General Secretary, Nami Dogri Sanstha compered the programme.
Randhir Singh Raipuria said that in connection with the Independence Day, a Mushaira will be held by the Radio Kashmir Jammu and J and K Academy of Art Culture and Languages but no Member of Dogra Mandal and Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu are invited. He further said that government should clear its stand on Dogri, Kashmiri and Punjabi languages for the posts of lecturers.
Dogra Harish Kaila, President Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu, lamented that no cards were distributed by the J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages to the Nami Dogri Sanstha and its members. “Even no poet of Nami Dogri Sanstha Jammu was invited by the Cultural Academy in the recently held Dogri Conferences which was organised by the State Academy reasons best known to them,” he added.
