NAGROTA: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana on Sunday sought naming of IIT Jammu after the great Dogra warrior and pride Mian Dido and 40 per cent jobs in its support staff for the locals.
A resolution to this effect, moved by Rana, who is also MLA Nagrota, was unanimously adopted by Mian Didoji Birthday Celebration Committee, comprising various socio-cultural organisations at a specially convened function at Mian Dido J Devasthan Jagti this morning. President Rajput Sabha Narain Singh and Chairman Team Jammu Zorawar Singh vehemently supported the resolution, hoping this will receive earnest attention by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and the State Government.

Rana hoped that the government would rise to the occasion and recognise the great contribution of the visionary warrior by taking a decision in this regard earnestly.
