Nagrota still craving for basic amenities: BSP

DANSAL: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) State General Secretary and candidate Nagrota Assembly Constituency Rakesh Wazir on Tuesday said if given mandate in the upcoming Assembly polls, he will took up the initiative to curb un-employment and corruption besides providing pension to widows and the aged at their doorsteps. He was addressing a public meeting at Dansal.
He said, “It is ironical that a constituency which is merely 6 km away from the winter capital of the State is still struggling for basic amenities including water, electricity, roads, old age and widow pensions, etc”.
Wazir said that construction and up-gradation of roads and bridges edifice shall be his other area of priority. Highlighting the issue of poor quality of water available to people of the Nagrota Constituency, he said that BSP will endeavour to provide potable water to people at their doorsteps.
Wazir asked the people to vote for a change so that people could be provided with the basic amenities.
The meeting among others was addressed by Gardhari Lal, Shiv Lal Dhingra, Romesh Kumar, Devi Dass and Mohan Lal.
