JAMMU: DDC Simrandeep Singh launched the Potential Linked Credit Plan (PLP) 2016-17 for Jammu District prepared by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) here on Thursday, in presence of AGM NABARD L.R Dogra and other dignitaries present during the District Consultative Committee/ District Level Review Committee (DCC/ DLRC).
Total credit potential in the Potential Linked Credit Plan of Jammu district had been assessed at Rs 4200.57 crore for the financial year 2016-17. PLP for 2016-17 marks 43 per cent growth over PLP of 2015-16 for the Priority Sector in Jammu district.
Various action points like social mobilisation, creation of awareness, skill formation drives, FLCs have been identified under PLP 2016-17 to overcome the adverse impacts of the constraints that may affect the translation of potential for institutional credit assessed into actual flow of Ground Level Credit.
