JAMMU: Mystery shrouds the death of a missing person, whose body was recovered from Nallah Tujar, in Bomai, from the country-side of apple-rich Sopore on Sunday morning, with empty syringes and pain killer injections lying by the side. The scenario has baffled the investigators who are working on different theories to crack the case.
The investigators are suspecting that the youth might have died after being injected over-dose of pain killers. Identified as Umar Ishaq Mir, son of Mohammad Ishaq, resident of Nowpora Tujar, the young man did not return home last evening. The worried family kept searching for Umar till midnight. However, this morning panic gripped the area as his body was found in a nallah.
Police said, there is a small scratch on the head of the deceased. Police has taken cognisance and launched the investigation
