UDHAMPUR: A special police party led by SDPO on Wednesday apprehended an absconder involved in murder case from Roun Domail Nakka in Udhampur.
According to a report, a police party led by SDPO S.S Baloria, Probationer Dy SP and newly posted SHO Police Station Sanjeev Gupta on tip off laid a Naka at Police Post Roun Domail and during frisking of bus passengers, police apprehended an absconder identified as Rahil Chandel son of Nazir Shah resident of Udhampur.
Rahil was wanted in murder case of Vicky son of Natha Singh resident of Barrian Udhampur and was absconding after committing crime.
Sources further revealed that during search some lethal weapons were also recovered from his possession.
It was informed that two more associates who were traveling with the accused were also arrested.
