Mufti carrying forward agenda of separatists: KD

JAMMU: State President, Kranti Dal, Jammu and Kashmir, Pritam Sharma alleged that Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was carrying forward the agenda of separatists in the State and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the State as well as Centre was supporting them.

Talking to reporters here today, Pritam Sharma said that if BJP feels they do have a nationalistic character then they should withdraw the support from the unholy alliance without any delay to save the interest of the State and the country.

“Separatists should be arrested as they are carrying forward the agenda of Pakistan on the soil of India which will not be tolerated by any nationalist,” Pritam said and charged the Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed with shielding separatist elements.

He demanded stern action against Masarat Alam, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Yasin Malik, Shabir Shah and other separatists for raising pro-Pakistan slogans and waving Pakistan flags in the Kashmir Valley.

Condemning attack on people engaged in mobile phone operations in north Kashmir, Pritam said that continued attack by anti-national elements on those engaged in mobile phone businesses compel them to wind up their business.

Speaking over the threats given by separatists for curtailing the duration of Amarnath Yatra, Pritam said any attempt to create hurdle in the smooth conduct of Yatra will have to face stiff resistance and reaction from the whole country the consequences of which will squarely fall on the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
