Earlier, in the semifinals, played today, Mudassar outplayed Wasim Iqbal 4-1 (65-16, 59-24, 26-56, 60-02, 60-21) while Younus Kuchey defeated Abhishek Pathania 4-1 (62-53, 67-42, 68-53, 39-79, 53-35).
Earlier, in the fourth quarterfinal of senior snooker, Mudassar trounced Umar Himanyun 4-2 (49-54, 81-37, 56-40, 94-00, 59-61, 80-44).
