Event scheduled for Nov 29 at Police Auditorium

JAMMU: The Body Building Association of Jammu and Kashmir (BBAJK) announced the Mr. Jammu & Kashmir Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025, set to take place on November 29, 2025, at the Police Auditorium, Jammu. The announcement made by Rajesh Dutta, Body Building Association of J and K (BBAJK) , during a press conference held at International Gym, Jammu.
Addressing members of the media, Dutta stated that the upcoming championship will bring together some of the finest athletes and bodybuilders from across the Union Territory, providing them a platform to showcase their strength, discipline, and dedication to fitness.
He highlighted that the championship aims to promote bodybuilding as a healthy lifestyle choice and to inspire the youth to embrace sports and physical fitness as a vital part of their lives.
“We are committed to providing a strong platform for our local talent to shine and to elevate the standard of bodybuilding and physique sports in Jammu and Kashmir,” said Mr. Dutta. “I invite all fitness enthusiasts, coaches, and gym owners to join us and make this event a grand success.”
Dutta expressed confidence that the championship will witness enthusiastic participation from athletes across Jammu and Kashmir. He also announced that the winners of this event will qualify for national-level competitions and may earn the opportunity to represent India in international bodybuilding and physique sports events.
He further appealed to the media and fitness community to extend their support in promoting the championship and motivating young athletes to strive for excellence in the sport.
The press conference also marked the official launch of the promotional campaign for the 2025 championship.
Among those present at the occasion were Vinay Sharma, Naresh Gupta, Rahul Bakshi, Sachin Singh Jamwal, Sanjay Bali and several other prominent members of the fitness community, who expressed their support and enthusiasm for the event.
