SAMBA: The Management of Mount Litera Zee School, Jammu on Sunday held auditions for SaReGaMaPa Little Champs at Tarore Bridge, here. Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Chairman Mount Litera Zee School, A.K Kapoor was the Guest of Honour.
Israr Khan, Retd DIG, Prof. Kailash Mehra Sadhu, Ex-Head, Department of Music, MAM College Jammu, K Saproo, Music Composer and Sunil Sharma-Music Composer were the judges for the auditions.
The minister inaugurated the auditions by declaring the event open followed by the welcome address presented by P.B Kapoor, Managing Director of the School.
Rahul Kapoor, Director of the School, gave the brief report about the auditions and briefed the audience about two rounds made for selection of the contest.
The minister congratulated the school management for taking an initiative in giving the youth of Jammu a platform in singing to excel at Pan India level. He added that the school management has made wonderful infra-structure equipped with modern technology and facilities to be made available to the students of the State.
He said that the management of the school has proved this by coming with singing talent before the official start even and after the start what more will come for the betterment of the State is a surprise. He even witnessed the auditions round for few students and congratulated them for their wonderful performances. Ritesh Kapoor, Trustee of the School, presented the vote of thanks.
Former Minister, Raman Bhalla was the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony who congratulated the school management for the conduct of all India level talent show auditions for Jammu youths.
The students those qualified the Cut the Queue auditions are Sargam Sharma, Nirmal Kumar, Himangi Pandita, Kanav Sharma, Ananya Jain, Bhavya Sharma, Suhani Sharma, Simran Chopra, Ishrat Ahmad and Navaj Anand. In the end, Raman Bhalla presented the Entry Coupons for Cut the Queue Auditions to the top ten selected participants.
