Motorcyclist nabbed with 65 pouches of liquor

SAMBA: Police on Monday arrested a motorcyclist and recovered 65 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, , a Police team headed by SI Sunil Dutt In-Charge Police Post SIDCO under the supervision of Inspector Sanjeev Chib, SHO Police Station Samba and Varinder Singh, Dy. SP HQ Samba, laid a Naka at SIDCO Chowk Samba and during the checking signaled a motorcyclist to stop but he tried to flee. However, the Naka party acted swiftly and nabbed him.
He was identified as Paramjeet son of Gopal Dass resident of Shah Balore Samba. During checking, police recovered 65 pouches from his possession, which he was transporting on his motorcycle (JK02AC-9540) for sale on exorbitant rates in Samba area.
A case vide FIR No. 180/2016 under section 48-A Excise Act was registered against him at Police Station Samba.
