JAMMU: Humming Buds, the Pre-School of Model Academy celebrated ‘Mothers’ Day’ with great enthusiasm in honour of all the mothers who shower selfless devotion on their children without any expectations.
The celebration started with a warm welcome to all the mothers of the BC Road and Residency Road branches by Amarjyot, co-curricular coordinator.
All the mothers were greeted with ‘The Best Mom’ badges. Chief Guest, Dr. Renu Gupta, Director MIER, addressed the mothers and complimented them for the innumerable sacrifices they make to raise their children. She highlighted the irreplaceable place mothers have in our lives. Also present on the occasion were Rupa Gupta, Management Representative, Usha Gaddoo, Officiating Principal, Manjari Sehgal, Academic Coordinator and other members of the staff.
Children of LKG and UKG sang ‘I Love You Mom’ song for their mothers accompanied by live music. This was followed by a fashion show by Nursery children. Little toddlers performed admirably on the catwalk exuberating confidence on the stage. Word Hunt and Passing the parcel games were organized for the mothers to make the day full of fun for them.
Ruchika Gupta, Project Director Humming Buds, praised the effort of the children and teachers for the beautiful performances and opined that ‘Motherhood’ is the most precious gift of God to any woman. She appreciated the efforts all mothers put in bringing up their children and paid rich tributes to them.
