SRINAGAR: Mohd Amin Malik has been elected President of District Football Association (DFA) Anantnag in an election meeting held here on Sunday. A good number of 33 eligible associate members of the DFA took part in the election process.
The members also named Irfan Nazir Bhat as District Secretary while Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani was elected as Treasurer. All the three office bearers for the prime positions were elected unopposed for the next term of four years from 2017 to 2021, a handout issued here on Sunday informed.
The election proceedings were presided over by Senior Vice President of J and K Football Association (JKFA) East Zone, Prof B.A Shah, who was assisted by S.A Hameed, Fayaz Ahmad Sofi and Tariq Ahmad Madini.
