Modi’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Prime minister Narendra Modi is well adept in coining new and ever new terms to attract the attention of the gullible people of the country on one hand and is keeping the officers and PRI’s in touch with the development scenario and is also keeping the bureaucrats at tenterhooks .Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is in full swing and it has gained momentum as the government functionaries ,officers ,PRI representatives and the end beneficiaries the people are in touch and are participating in the development yatra. Under this yatra ,the government officers and the representatives of the Panchayats and local bodies are visiting different areas and are discussing the development scenario with the people at their doorsteps. .In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at saturating the benefits of central government schemes across the nation ,PM Modi launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra on November 15,from Khunti .Jarkhand. .The Yatra encompasses three tribal districts in Himachal Pradesh ,namely Chamba ,Spiti ,and kinnaur ,in its first phase of Yatra ,making a significant expansion of its reach .In Punjab and Hayana ,the Yatra commenced on November 22.The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra seeks to cover almost every gram Panchayat in the country and it will thus involve the common .citizens in the development journey of the nation .In Punjab ,13,646 locations are being covered ,while in Haryana ,the campaign will reach 6537 locations and in HP ,3799 locations are targeted .To facilitate immediate services ,various camps are being set up by departments such as the postal department ,health department ,and others. The Yatra is designed to inform and empower citizens about governments flagship schemes ,aims to create awareness and deliver the benefits of welfare programs directly to the people .Jan Bhagidari events ,including interaction with beneficiaries ,celebration of achievements ,on spot quiz competitions ,drone demonstrations ,health camps ,and mera Bharat Volunteer enrollment is forming an integral part of the ground activities. The Viksit Bharat Campaign ,one of the largest outreach initiatives .aims to cover over 2.55 lakh Gram Panchayats and 3600 urban local bodies by January 25,2024 and it has been achieved. .This compressive campaign operates with a whole of government approach,ensuring active participation from state/UT government, district authorities ,Urban Local Bodies ,and Gram Panchayats. The Yatra aims to make aware the people across Jammu and Kashmir and also aims to empower the people as well as reach to the ultimate beneficiaries of the flagship schemes and programs of the central government .Like other states and UT’s of India ,the Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra is being conducted and carried in every nook and corner of the J&K UT with the active cooperation of all stakeholders including the targeted public .In J&K ,the Yatra was flagged off from Budhal ,Rajouri ,Guraz and Bandipora on November 15.Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj shina virtually attended the launch at Raj Bhawan on November 15.A Dynamic of melange of events and initiatives unfolded on the first day of the VIKSIT Bharat Sankalp Yatra ,weaving together stories of empowerment and collective engagement towards a shared vision of national development .It is heartening and encouraging that the Sanklap Yatra reached to more than one lakh people across 250 Gram Panchayat’s in the country .People thronged the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Vans and enthusiastically participated in the initiatives organized as well as availed of the on-spot services provided .More than 16,000 people participated in health camps organised with over 6000 people screened for TB ,and over 4500 for Sickle Cell disease on the first day The aim of the Yatra is to generate awareness regarding the central government’s welfare schemes and policies and achieve 100 per cent saturation of flagship government schemes .The Yatra is a testimony to the country’s resolve to develop and acknowledge the role and responsibility shared by the citizens in this endeavour .It also marks a significant step in the achievement of this objective through outreach ,information dissemination and empowering citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development. .People,PRI’s and government officials attended the launch function. The Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra ,a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the centre’s flagship schemes reached Panchayats in the hilly remote area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri districts Pir Panchal Valley.The Viksit Bharat sankalp Yatra is in full swing in Jammu and Kashmir with the district administration, Tehsil ,Block administration and the PRI ,representatives and the councilors of the local bodies reaching to towns and villages and interacting with the citizens and making them aware about the central government schemes and flagship programs and soliciting the participation of people and ensuring their participation in the development journey of the country and making it possible to aware the citizens about the benefits of the centrally sponsored schemes .The Viksit Bharat sanklap Yatra makes it possible to ensure the participation and involvement of the citizens in the development journey of the nation and the UT of Jammu and Kashmir .Under the programe and initiative of viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra ,the government officers ,PRI’s, representatives of the local bodies are touring and visiting different parts and regions of Jammu and Kashmir and taking development to the door steps of the citizens and making it possible that people will come to know about the central schemes and flagship programs so that people at large will become masters of their destiny by empowering them. .Abdul Wahid Malik ,a local told ANI that the benefit of the centers schemes is reaching out to everyone.”The benefit of the centre’s schemes is reaching out to people .Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme ,eighty percent of the Golden Cards have been made .Remaining of the cards are being made. ”Under this scheme ,the government bears the cost of medicines ,tests ,etc for up to Rs 5 lakh for treatment in a year .Apart from the government hospitals ,a few private hospitals have also been empanelled by the government ,where patients can receive free treatment by showing the golden card issued under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme .It is encouraging and satisfying that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is underway and reaching the farthest corners and regions of the country and Jammu and Kashmir UT and people taking active part in the Yatra and becoming partners in the development of the country and also informing and empowering them .The local newspapers are full of the news and stories about the participation of the people in the Yatra .On first day of the Yatra over 1200 My Bharat Volunteers were registered along with more than 80,000 people who pledged allegiance to the transformative ”Sanklap Pledge.’ ‘The Viksit Bharat Campaign aims to cover 2.55 lakh Gram Panchayats and over 3600 urban local bodies by January 25,2o24,touching every district of the country .In Jammu and Kashmir braving cold winds at 8000 feet above mean sea level ,local youth ,Panchayats Raj institutions and government officials attended the launch function .The focus of the Yatra will be on reaching out to people and create awareness and providing benefits of welfare schemes like sanitation facilities ,essential financial services ,electricity connections ,access to LPG cylinders ,housing for poor ,food security ,proper nutrition ,reliable healthcare ,clean drinking water ,etc. .In short such yatra’s should be encouraged because they are aimed at information about central flagship schemes and creation of awareness and empowering of the people across country including the J&K.
