Modi’s era golden period of history: Vibodh

RAJOURI: Terming Modi’s era as Golden period of history, Member Legislative Council and senior BJP leader Advocate Vibodh Gupta on Thursday said that it was for the first time after independence of India that central schemes have been implemented on ground and people started getting benefits from it.
Initiating Jan Vishwas Yatra from Muradpur area of Rajouri, Senior BJP leader Advocate Vibodh Gupta spread awareness about the benefits of central schemes at four polling booths of Muradpur area. Jan Vishwas Yatra has been launched by the party in the State to disseminate the benefits of central schemes in Jammu and Kashmir and their proper implementation.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emerged strong force in the world that has projected India as a great nation before the world community. He said that this speaks about the vision and style of work of the Prime Minister who has even not availed a single leave for himself from the date he was sworn in as Prime Minister till date. He said that India has get most energetic and most visionary Prime Minister for the first time and not only people of India are feeling proud today but NRIs who are living outside the country have started working with their heads up. ”Modi has restored the honour of people of India at National and International levels”, he said.
Pointing towards central sponsored schemes, he said that after the independence of country, central government made various schemes for development of urban and rural areas but these schemes remained limited upto papers only. “With taking over of Modi as PM, central sponsored schemes started showing results on ground”, he said adding that for the first time in history, people saw drastic change on ground through works executed under central sponsored schemes. He added that MGNREGA had become a big mess during previous government but this scheme has successfully implemented on ground by the present regime. He said that various projects have also been completed in district Rajouri under this scheme and people are happy to see the results of these schemes on ground.
Calling upon workers to prepare for Urban Local Bodies and Panchayat elections, he impressed upon workers to disseminate the benefits of central government schemes among public and request for support from them on the basis of performance done by the government. Mandal Pradhan Dinesh Tara, Sarpanch Balbir Kumar, Sarpanch Bhau Ram, Sarpanch Kewal Krishen, Madan Lal Sharma and Rakesh Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
