JAMMU: As the entire world is hailing and acknowledging the policies of Prime Minister Narender Modi, this recognition and endorsement widely across the country has not gone well with the opposition parties for obvious reasons. This was stated by State Spokesperson of BJP Balbir Ram Rattan, lamenting that these parties are making noises and criticising things for the sake of criticism, rather than coming forth with any disapproval on a rationale and valid reason. Recognition of PM on popularising Yoga at the international level has become unpalatable for the opposition political parties and leaders, he said.
Making fervent appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to adopt and practice Yoga to lead a zestful, vibrant and healthy life, Balbir said that recognition of India’s ancient way of therapeutic and curative practice of Yoga at the international level is one of the greatest achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “While the UNO has adopted yoga and declared 21st June as International Yoga Day at the initiative of Narendra Modi, this recognition has not gone well with the opposition parties, Congress in particular, just for the sake of politics” Balbir said and added that this achievement has earned respect and admiration for the country from the comity of nations. He said that consistent-efforts on part of Narendra Modi to make the world community realise the importance and benefits of the one of the ancient practice of mediation and healing through certain exercises and regulated breathing pattern as per one’s comfort and that too without spending any money has earned respect for the country and its cultural heritage. Even though there is no politics nor is BJP indulging in any such move on the issue, this is not being appreciated by political leaders, he said.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that various welfare schemes and development projects initiated by BJP-led NDA Government under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and not even a single case of corruption or scam has taken place during the last two years. This fact has totally unnerved the opposition parties, who now do not appreciate even the achievement like international recognition of yoga. He said that another major achievement at international level is that under the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi today India has become the most suitable market for investment with complete control on inflation and this all has been possible due to the fact that today India’s image has changed from corrupt to honest state. Instead of appreciating this fact, the opposition is playing it down, the BJP leader said.
