Modi Govt gave respect to Punjabi language, local youth will get opportunities: Chugh

JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh has expressed happiness over the facility given by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to conduct the examination of Constable for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in Punjabi language as well, saying that this has given respect to the Punjabi language.
He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
Chugh said that on the initiative of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the BJP government at the Center led by Narendra Modi has taken a historic decision. Apart from Hindi and English, the facility to appear in exams in 13 Indian languages has been provided and it will provide opportunities to local youth and Indian languages will also be promoted, he added.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are very serious about the protection and promotion of Indian languages. As a result of this, there is an opportunity to do medical and engineering studies also in Indian languages to promote rural talents, he added.
