Security agencies have a tough time ahead of the Prime Minister Nerendra Modi’s scheduled election rallies in militancy hotbeds of the Valley.
Sources in the BJP said that Modi will address ten election rallies in the state to campaign for his party candidates to fuflil the Mission 44+. Modi is addressing a rally in south Kashmir’s Tral and North Kashmir, both hotbeds of militancy and anti-India protests since militancy erupted in the state.
All the security agencies operating in Jammu and Kashmir, including Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are on high alert.
Sources in BJP told Mirror that PM Modi will have ten election rallies in the state.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Kishtwar on November 22 ahead of first phase of Jammu and Kashmir polls starting from November 25. This will be followed by his another poll rally in Udhampur on November 30 to campaign for the second phase of polling to be held on December 2.
Prime Minister would address the rally to woo voters for phase one poll in which six Assembly segments comprising Ramban, Banihal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Inderwal and Kishtwar will go to poll on November 25.
Party sources said that the BJP as a part of its poll campaign wants to impress the Jammu and Kashmir people by using 3-D technology.
“We are receiving the hitech 3D van on November 24 and later it will be used in the poll compaign. The main aim of the 3D services is that the PM Modi sitting at one place will address the lakhs of people of Jammu and Kashmir at the same time,” said Vir Saraf, BJP’s election incharge Modi’s speeches will be telecasted in many areas of the State at the same time with the help of 3D technology and satellite link-ups.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for External Affairs and former Army chief VK Singh will arriving in Srinagar today to meet BJP workers and candidates ahead of the first phase of elections in J&K beginning November 25.
This will be the first visit of Singh to Kashmir after his controversial revelations last year that ministers in Jammu and Kashmir were on the payrolls of Army.
