SUNDERBANI : Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nowshera Ravinder Raina launched a cleanliness drive in Sunderbani on Thursday under ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. He was accompanied by his party workers, social workers of WECARE society including its convener Sushil Sharma and the employees of Municipal Committee Sunderbani.
MLA himself swept the road to Sub District Hospital and cleaned the pits in the city while his co workers cleaned the Old Bus Stand Road, Court Road and Kangri Road.
Raina asked the citizens of Sunderbani to keep their surroundings clean and asked the officers, officials and workers of municipality to give proper attention towards hygiene, sanitation and pollution free atmosphere. Similar drive was also launched by the MLA earlier in Nowshera town on 26th December, 2014 which continued for some days.
The MLA has intensified his activities even before formation of the government and has visited number of villages to know their grievances and also the problems they are confronted to. He was accompanied by BJP Block President Sunderbani Jarnail Singh, Vice President Rakesh Gupta, Ramesh Lal and Ashok Gupta.
