MLA listens to people’s grievances

RAMBAN: Member Legislative Assembly, Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh visited various villages including Shargali, Aidhwa, and Batyia of constituency Ramban to take stock of demands and problems of the people of these far flung areas.
Representatives of PRIs and prominent citizens accompanied the MLA during the visit. Speaking on the occasion, Neelam Langeh said that State as well as Central Government is committed to provide better basic services to people of far flung areas with focus on education and healthcare.
He said government is working under a well-knit programme to improve the public utilities in every nook and corner of the State.
During the visit, various deputations met the MLA and apprised him of their demands and problems seeking an immediate redressal to the same.
Neelam Langeh assured the people that their genuine demands would be addressed in a phased manner. He said that installation of new transformers besides provision of new water supply scheme and road connectivity to these areas will also be considered on priority.
