RS PURA: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) of RS Pura Constituency, Dr.Gagan Bhagat on Tuesday distributed relief ration to 71 families of the Municipal Committee comprising thirteen wards at RS Pura.
While briefing the media, Dr. Bhagat said the relief ration has been distributed to the families that were affected in the flash floods and continuous rains few months back besides the poor people who had Kuccha houses were severely affected.
Present Coalition Government is committed to provide immediate relief to the deserving people, he said and directed the CAPD officials to sanction 35 kg ration to the beneficiaries on time.
While addressing the public, he assured timely availability of ration as per the sanctioned quota. He assured that strict action will be taken against the officials or fair price shop dealer if they are found indulging in black-marketing.
Others present were SDM RS Pura, Tehsildar RS Pura, AD CAPD Joginder Singh, TSOs RS Pura and Miran Sahib.
