DODA: Doda Police traced two missing girls from different areas and handed over to their parents after completing all legal formalities.
Reports said that on 17th Dec 2015, a missing report vide DDR No. 09 was entered at Police Station Assar with regard to missing of one girl namely Lakshmi Devi daughter of Tara Chand resident of Chirota Assar, from her house on 15th December, 2015. Doda Police activated the sources as well as enquired from the parents/relatives of the missing girl. On the tip-off of reliable sources and Call Detail Reports (CDRs), Doda Police finally traced out the missing girl from village Mangloore, Tehsil Dinga Amb, District Kathua on 29th Feb 2016, where she entered into marriage with one Surjit Singh son of Bishamber Singh resident of village Mohra Bachater, Tehsil Dinga Amb, District Kathua.
Similarly, another girl namely Rubina Banoo daughter of Bashir Ahmed resident of Kandalo, Tehsil Gandoh, who was missing from her house since 23rd September 2015 and accordingly a missing report was entered at Police Station Gandoh vide DDR No.17. Gandoh Police finally traced out the said missing girl on 28th Feb 2016.
