Missing girls from Kashmir traced in Rajouri

RAJOURI: Rajouri Police on Monday traced two school going girls, who went missing from Amira Kadal and handed them back to family.

According to a report, a police team of Rajouri Police Post under the supervision of Incharge Police Post SI Danish Maqbool was on routine patrolling when two school going girls were seen roaming on main bus stand in suspicious condition after which officers also reached there and during investigation, it was found that both the girls are from Pohru Nowgam and 12th class students of Amira Kadal Higher Secondary School.

Rajouri Police then established contact with its counterparts in Shergarhi Police Station in Kashmir and it was learnt that both girls are missing and their missing reports also stand registered before local police.

Following legal process, families and police team from Kashmir was then called and after completion of all legal formalities, girls have been handed over to their families.
