The alleged incident took place on April 14 evening when the girl had gone to relieve herself in the open in Tijara area where one Imran caught her, they said.
She narrated her ordeal to the family members but they preferred to not file a police case. Two days back, the girl’s family and the family of the accused confronted each other over the issue following which the locals intervened and an FIR was lodged yesterday, the police said.
A medical test of the victim, aged 13, was conducted and the report is awaited. No arrest has been made so far, the police said, adding, that the matter is under further investigation.
