SRINAGAR: A minor girl got drowned in a pond at her native village in Handwara.
“A five-year old girl Sahista Bano, daughter of Noor Din Tajal, resident of Gujjar Patti Baderkal, Handwara got drowned in a pond at her native village,” police said.
The body of the deceased was fished out by police and locals and after completion of medico legal formalities, the same was handed over to her family for last rites.
