Minor dies, 10 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR: A minor died while ten others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
In Ganderbal, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01G-1836 hit and injured a 4 years old child identified as Rameez Ahmad Khatana son of Sharif-ud-din resident of Baba Nagri, Kangan. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kangan where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
In Awantipora, an accident took place between Trailer bearing registration number PB06E-5917 and an Alto K-10 bearing registration number JK01R-1678 resulting in injuries to three persons boarded in the car. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK03-9804 collided with an Alto-800 bearing registration number JK03-4397 near Tanchabugh Pampore, resulting in injuries to a person identified as Mufeed Ahmad Shah son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Sarnal an occupant of the Alto-800 car. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore where from he has been referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for further treatment.
In another accident, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK13C-5533 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Ashiq Ahmad Sheikh son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Ladhoo at Ladhoo near JK Bank. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment.
In Sopore, an I-10 vehicle bearing registration JK09A-1979 hit and injured an eight years old child identified as Tauseef Ahmad Dar son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Dukalbal Nathipora at Dukalbal National Highway. The was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore where he succumbed to his injuries.
In Baramulla, a Fego vehicle bearing registration number JK05A-5831 met with an accident near Uribowa, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Uri resulting in injuries to four persons boarded in the vehicle. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment.
Police have registered the respective cases.
