Minibus workers seek hike in passenger fare

JAMMU: Mini Bus Workers Union strongly criticised the Central Government and oil companies for increasing diesel and petrol price every month due to that transporter are suffering badly.
In the meeting held here on Tuesday, Chairman of the Union, Anil Chopra said that throughout the year the prices of petroleum products were increased many times but there was no increase matching fares.
The union leaders unanimously demanded immediate revision of fares within week’s time failing which transporters will take strong decision. Others who were present in the meeting include Niranjan Singh, Jagater Singh, Vijay Singh Chib, Raj Kumar Choudhary, Jatinder Khajuria, Vikram Dogra, Naresh, Pupinder Singh, Suram Singh, Sher Singh, Neel Kanth, Raju, Ranjeet Singh, Razak Choudhary, Om Kar Singh, Om Parkash, Sanjeev Singh and Mohinder Singh.
