Militant hideout busted in Pulwama

Srinagar: Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from Khrew forest area in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, police said today.

On specific information, a joint team of Army and police last night launched a search operation in Pampore area, a police spokesperson said.

During the search, security forces busted a militant hideout and recovered one AK rifle, five AK magazines, 127 rounds, five hand grenades, seven UBGL grenades, two detonators and other items, the spokesperson added.
